Hornet / Phantom II

Most of you know I did a Phantom/Hornet hybrid a couple of years ago. I've wanted to do another one for quite some time. The "voices" spoke to me and I have a plan for the new one. I've got some time while I wait for the 2306 ISS/ Space Shuttle pass over my locale, so I've started on it.

Here is the original F/A-41 Warlock ( if I remember the name correctly)

Yep, the original was the Warlock. I remember batting names about for that one over on FSM forums a couple of years back.

I remember because Warlock was one of my suggestions.

Do you do some preliminary sketchs of what the end result might be like or do you just fit stuff together until it "looks Right"

To be honest, I just sit and stare at the pieces until I get a vision of what it should look like. Then I discuss it with myself until one of us agrees on what to do.   I just go with the gut feel.

Nev, Thanks for the comp on the F-4 but, believe me, it's a real dog. I had planned on refurbing it and using some CV-43 decals I've got, but on closer inspection, it would have been a waste. Better to by a decent kit and do it right.  

I appreciate the positive vibes everyone. B) It should turn out looking.....out there.
