Tonight was putting on the decals. panel lines and a little weathering. But not to much. I did not put all the decals on. Could not be arsed.

Added a bit of paint chipping and some signs of general wear and tear.

Final thing was to dust the whole model in red pastels.  The Australian outback is red to almost pink in colour. The dust is so fine that it covers everthing and can get into the smallest nooks and cranies.

Any equipment regardless of what it is operating in this environment will end up having a nice redish hue to it.

Having traveled and worked all over the interior of OZ I can vouch for this first hand.

That's gorgeous! Those chinese markings are the perfect compliment to that amazing camo scheme. Two thumbs up!

Well I am waiting for my cab to take me to the airport so I am going to quickly post some pics of my sort of finished model.

The model is to all intense and purposes done but I am missing an ejection seat.

I am still waiting for the aftermarket one to come in.

I decided on a mixed load out. The missles and drop tank are from the kit.  The laser guided bombs are from an Italeri Su-34.

Looks different and different is good.
