Just received some Mexican decals from NARSES for my long planned Mexican FW190, part of Chris's fascist Mexico Alt history.  Plan is for it to go on an NMF airframe :)

I got another 3 part built 190s in the spares box, all awaiting ideas

1)  Israeli (of course).  Chris suggested Czech built

2)  Italy - I don't believe they ever got 190s, but IIRC all their a/c were in German camo, which is very hard to reproduce without an airbrush (don't have mine yet)

3)  Republican Spain.  Given to Hitler as a reward for joining the war on the Axis side

4)  Argentina?  Was Kurt Tank one of those who made it there?

All other ideas gratefully received

Radish

An Israeli one could be an S-99, as the Czechs chose to build the Fw-190 instead of the Bf-109G-14.....

Italy? Italy was allocated Me-262s and runways were already extended.
An Italian '262 Defence Flight version might have lots of red/white and green with full RSI markings too.
Late war German camouflage on aircraft built late in the war had a lot of hard-line colour demarcation, as well as primers and unpainted metal. Lots of scope for not using an airbrush.

Argentina? Kurt Tank did go there I believe.

What about Egypt? They bought ex-Italian Macchi C.205s, so why not ex-Italian Fw-190s?? With the REAF markings, of course.

What about France.
They had some license-French built Fw-190A-8s anyway, so why not lots more?

Mexican is nice.

Why not South Vietnamese?
Cuban?
Nationalist Chinese using the "Nationalist" connection.....silver with green "speckled" uppersurfaces, or heavily weathered dark green all over?

Imperial Japanese Army??

What sort of version of '190 have you got?

I've got the pieces to start putting together a Fw-190S-9/R-11 two-seat nightfighter.  I'm splicing the two-seat cockpit of the Fw-190S-8 into a Fw-190D-9 airframe and using the Fw-190A-8/R11 antennae bits from Revell's kit (all in 1/72).  I'm not sure, yet, what markings to use.

I have an airbrush but I dont use it too much (esp as I mostly use enamels and have no spray booth or way to ventelate) but i still do motteling with either a piece of sea sponge or a stiff bristle brush then soften it with a sea sponge by dabbing it when it's almost dry

Give it a try ;)

Franco DID had Fw-190s, one squadron of the blue division´s air component was equiped with FW190A-8s. Sadly, they remained in russia after disbandment.
I vote for Spain 46, but I would like an advanced version, Ta-152C or something equivalent...

They're all Revell 1/72 A-8s

I like the Egyptian ex-Italian idea (especially as I have markings for ex Italian Egyptian Macchis ;) )

German satellite states is another good 'un, but decals are a problem.

Kits are out of the loft - its actually 3 I've got to play with, not 4.  Had a complete panic moment as I could only find 1 front windshield, which I then dropped in the loft insulation and lost!  :dum:

Thankfully I found 3 sprues of 190 canopies in another box  :ar:

Seeing as its a whif, why not a dark green and grey 190 with Fascist ANR markings? Marked like one of their Re 2005?

Or an all black night intruder?

You can try doing mottling with mr. miller's magical perforated aluminum foil technique. :)

Not a Whiff - really happened.  The Allies even gave it a code name - Fred.  It was an Fw190A-5.
