here's a pic  B)

QuoteOut walking 5 miles south of my house today, got caught in a torrential downpour, but saw a Tornado F3 and an Su-30MKI in very tight formation overhead.  Don't see that everyday B)

No camera (again!!)  :dum:
You saw them too Nev???  Forgot to mention it, but they came almost overhead as I was walking from the town after a small shopping trip.  Probably wouldn't have seen them had I been in the house, we're overlooked by several properties & it can be difficult to see low flying aircraft.  They were low & slow, a fair bit slower than the speed Tonka's normally shoot by at.  It was over a week ago, so I guess it was around the begining of the exercise.  Didn't have my camera either. :(
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Pair of cobras this afternoon - looked like "W"s.  Looked as though they were going into Lackland....and were followed a few minutes later by a TOTAL HORN INDUCING stampede of a half dozen sea stallions.

Chopper-tastic treat.

Just got back from working at the Airport, before stepping into the belly of an egyptian A-300, here wer some movements, the usual 747's, A-320, DC-8

one military movement was just landing infront of me, and that was a slovenian AF PC-9M on the way to Fairford, who landed here to get some gas  B)

RAF SAR SeaKing went by today, a very rare sight around here, slap bang in the middle of the country as far as u can get from the coast in any direction. And no mountains this side of the welsh border lol
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I visted my parents in Virginia over the weekend.  I almost didn't see any military aircraft, but yesterday morning before I left, an E-2 Hawkeye flew over their house.  It took me back a long time.

They weren't jousting Trev, it was just a single pair of a Tonka & Su-30, guess the visitor was being escorted in.

Not too exciting but flying right over the roof top of my house, Piper PA-25-235 CropDuster.  He was using my driveway for lining up his next pass over the adjacent field to my place.

The light standard is for my yard.  I guess seeing as I've moved out into the countryside this will be a common occurence for me now.
