EErrrrr...........saw the ISS for a few nights on the trot last week......nope....yer right....not even near.....(shuffles off...)
Actually, it's an aerospace object so as long as it's orbit went over your house, it's legit.

Ha!!! Awesome.....first night I saw it there was a smaller object infront of it....found out this was a re-supply vehicle. Would never have known about it but a bloke at work posted it on his FB profile...time n direction....it was a clear night so I thought I'd give it a go....well impressed...watched it go over 3 nights in a row....was told that if I had a really decent set of bino's or a telescope I would have actually been able to make out the shape of it instead of just seeing a fast moving bright light....... ;D....app not able to see it here now til October some time....
BODY,BODY....HEAD..!!!!

Yorkshire Air Ambulance MD902 G-SASH (one of two) taking off while I was parking the car at Hull Royal Infirmary (more on that later).  Just happened to be right next to the landing area as I pulled up & just happened to have my camera.  How often does that happen???  It's the same one that ferried Richard Hammond after his Top Gear jet car crash.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

XH558 flew over me Mam's house about 1pm this afternoon.  Top that!

She flew over Durham too that day.  ;D

RAF Hercules went over Willington just before noon today at about 500ft heading north, nice multi shaded green colour, well weathered.

Three Tornado mud-movers wwent past the window here at work around 1000. Approx 300ft heading northwest, maybe practising attack runs on the gas & oil platforms in Liverpool Bay. or dog-legging around to go down to Valley or perhaps connected to the (cancelled) fly-past at Southport at the weekend. Not the first time we've had them here, but not exactly a regular occurence.

On the rare occasion when the sky is free of clouds and the time of day is right, I get to see several jumbos pass over within minutes of each other a couple times a day. These are typically international or coast to coast heavies making their way along their routes. This B747 was on its descent into Detroit when I snapped this pic. There was a good deal of haze in the air, can't wait until the crystal clear skies of winter arrive!

Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

I haven't been able to see them, thanks to a nice overcast and my forest of a neighborhood, but the USN has been putting on a non-stop airshow for the last 2 days.  All day and all night all you can hear are Super Bugs.  Some have come over so darn low I almost hit the deck, seriously!  I don't know what's going on but they're working up for something.  Earlier a couple of H-60s buzzed by low and fast.  Is a carrier gearing up for a deployment soon?  I know Ike just came back, any ideas guys?

Judging from my intel (includes Globalsecurity's Where are the Carriers? section), it's either the Enterprise or the George H.W. Bush(to be on her first deployment ever)

Pretty busy today & yesterday although it's all been a little distant making it difficult to identify & photograph.  A lot of fast jet noise yesterday & I managed to spot what I'm pretty sure was two Tornadoes.  Today we've had a Griffin HT.1, a yellow Sea King & what I'm pretty sure were two Dominies in formation (distant again).  Wonder if there's been an exercise or something.
