Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

I was walking to a bus stop yesterday afternoon when I was treated to a rare sight in the skies of my neighbourhood, a Piaggo P.180 Avanti flew over on it's approach to Waterloo Regional Airport.

That 747 shot looks like the dump and burn to ednd all dump and burns!

Kind of like the 747 saying "F-111, eat your heart out!"

No pics, and I apparently forgot to post it, but last Sunday I had two A-10's out of Selfridge fly over my house at 11am.  One at no more than 250 feet RIGHT OVER MY HOUSE!!!!!!  I looked out the kitchen windows and there he was!  I could almost count rivets!

His wingman was about 1/4 mile north at around 1000 ft.  I think the boys at Selfridge are enjoying their new rides.

Its power line inspection time again.

How close is it to me...this might give you some perspective. This is the streetlight at the end of my driveway. He's about 25-30 feet above the ground flying along the high tension power lines that run behind my neighbors houses across the street.

Totally dark out right now, but I was just overflown by one of Selfridge's 107th FS A-10's at about 1000 feet.

More helicopters than I can shake a stick at. Got a really crappy pic of the 4 super hornets the other day....

Was overjoyed to watch a Chinook fly past twice today. One of those new ones with the pointy nose.....

Mmmm....choppers.....
