Not over, but next to. The road was suddenly filled with brand new cars, and a quick inspection revealed that they belonged to a neighbour, a car dealer! Dunno what he was going to do with 10 new cars though... (PS: The new Fiat 500 looks sweet, very retro!)

Was driving to work past the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel when a bright red helicopter appeared!
They flew from high on my right, across the road and down onto the landing pad on the hospital roof. It was G-EHMS, Londons Air Ambulance and looked very cool! ;D

BTW, this is how to park a Fiat 500!!! It was actually driven in there! :o

Captain Canada

We were working away at the shop this afternoon when I said to Kurly " on a day like today, I ought to dig my camera out...just in case " And about two minutes later I heard the Chopteriffic sound of this baby....

It the Enbridge chopper they use to check pipelines with.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!

Saw it's stablemate while I was in London at the weekend, a Dauphin, came fairly low over the rooftops.  When at home, I occasionally see a locally based CHC Dauphin rig runner, & their Super Puma too.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Glenn Gilbertson

A boat trip on lake Lucerne - a roar of piston engines, sounding like radials. Twelve engines? Yes - FOUR Ju 52's all together!
Alas, could not fit all four in to one frame.

Mossie

If you put that last one in B&W Glenn & you'd hardly know it was taken this year.

Yesterday was a good day for spotting, I was at the Yorl campus.  Every time I walked out the building there seemed to be an aircraft of some kind.  First up was a Lynx, bit high but pretty sure it was an AH.7.  Then there was a Tucano & another one the next time I ventured out.  A Piper Cherokee/Warrior later & then on an errand to York Hospital (via the model shop!) there was a Jet Ranger.  Good day in all!

Today I was back in Hull & there was plenty of activity, but for either cloud or buildings the only one I saw was a twin engine airliner (don't do airliner types!).  Some fast jet activity, but despite bobbing my head around & looking like a n*b head I couldn't see a thing!

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I were in a town west of Brno called Rosice to check out a chateau there.

Rosice isn't very far from the Czech air base at Namest nad Oslavou and less than a minute after we got of the train in Rosice, a two ship of L-39s from Namest flew over.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to focus my camera quickly enough before they were out of sight. Damn slow digitals!

On The afternoon of Thursday just past, I was enslaved into digging the veg patch of my beloved.  I toiled away under the weak sun till my labours were interupted by a BIH super Puma, then aleast 2 tornado F.3's.  The latter proceeded to do their usual chase-me thing, much as usual for a Thursday.  This time they were joined, suddenly from behind some nearby trees, by a Army Air Corps Gazelle, which they then carried out a number of gun passes on, while it tried to run for cover.

Nothing that exciting really!!!
Reality is for people who can't handle Whif!!

Now with more WHATTHEF***!! than ever before!

A pair of Tornados over Dorchester. Too far away to see what type they were, but they were flying North pretty low. I can only assume they'd taken a run at the Lulworth test range.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Finally got my pics on line that I took in Dover, DE last month.

First off, this C-5 was doing touch n goes as we were driving up Hwy 10 for a Dr appointment for mom.  Sucker seemed to be moving so slow but trying to get a decent pic of it while driving...

Looped around and flying up the other side of the car.  Sure is a bigun.

And we go by it again as it touched down.

C-17 doing the same thing while I was visiting the Air Command Mobility Museum

as well as another Galaxy.

Then there was this visitor in a different color scheme.

And finally, a shot down the flightline.

Two F-15's, see them playing around occasionally, think I posted something about them last year.  Almost directly over the house, then turning in a wide circle.  Heard them, but didn't see them about an hour later too.
