Dak over Formby around 1530 this afternoon, 'bout 1500/2000ft hdg southeast, then saw it again on my way to work this evening around 1825 over the fields to the east of us, turning east toward Maghull & Lydiate.

White top, very dark blue, wide,  cheatline, some sort of two-tone blue design on the fin, underside between the engines same very dark blue. balance of the side & underside could have been pinted aluminium or a light grey, difficult to tell.

Holloway Road / Arsenal, London, 14.00 to-day (and on Wednesday), what appeared to be an EH-101 escorted by A109s, headed broadly SE. I didn't think EH-101 was used for VIP transport yet?

Plus a great view of an RN Lynx landing when I visited someplace Oop North recently.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

On Saturday, the police were doing circles over the centre of Brno in their EC-135.

Apparently the gay parade that took place in the centre stirred up some protest and somebody threw a tear gas cannister into a restaurant.

Yesterday i went sailing with an insainly powerful RIB. It only had 500 hp. Being dragged behind it in a banana was fun! :drink:
2 F-16 drivers noticed us though, and decided to buzz us at extremely low altitude :o

I saw a C-17 yesterday.  It must have zoom climbed out of Langley AFB, because it was climbing steeply from that direction.  Then it made a wide, wide turn before banking to the east.  It was a great photo op, but the batteries in my camera picked exactly that moment to die.  Better luck next time, I guess.

E-3 Sentry heading low and *fast* directly east.  Very unusual cos the occasional sightings are not very low and quite slow, heading south to Waddo on long finals.

Then again, we got hit my a tropical downpour 5 minutes later, so he was probly running away from that.
