Wasn't me ! It was a present....they just gave it to me lol

I think their was a ship leaking or somat. He was cruising the great lakes all week. It's owned by Transport Canada and she's some kind of environmental watchdog I think. Nice to see tho, so graceful.

I like the idea of a surveillance aircraft having "SURVEILLANCE" painted on the side in big letters.
One of the many builds I have planned is a Gotham City police car with UNDERCOVER UNIT painted on it.

Yesterday a Learjet 35A whistled over on approach, I drove past the airport to find out if I was seeing things or not and it was parked on the GA apron, all over plain white with dark red rego, it was too far away to read the rego though but it looked too long to be Australian. I don't actually remember the last time I saw a Learjet, yet alone a old school type with tip-tanks...

A couple of MV-22s whizzed over just now, in aeroplane mode, and making like the Reds as they were SO close to each other!  :o

I hope the crews remembered how BIG those roto-props are!

Something noisy and piston engined this morning.  I'm guessing a warbird from Tyabb aerodrome but there are tall trees at the bottom of our yard in the direction the noise was coming from and I couldn't see it.
I hate it when that happens.

NARSES2

Got a good view of the London Air Ambulance this morning. Came in to make an emergency delivery whilst I was sitting outside at St George's post procedure having a cup of coffee. Landed in plain view, never been as close to it before and don't particularly want to get any closer. Noisy beast.

Rheged

I don't know what they are, because the cloud is too low, but yesterday and today there has been a great deal of noisy jet activity over chateau Rheged.    Rheged minor has scrutinised Flight Radar 24, and can find no mention whatsoever of any military aircraft in the area.   Is there an exercise on, or is the Llandrindod Wells Freedom Front getting active, or are they all just out to play because it's early in the month and they are trying to get their hours in before the Treasury start grumbling about fuel costs?

When the late Mrs_PR19 was in the Gloucester Royal on one of her many trips there, she was in a bed right by the ward window on Floor 8 of the Tower Block. That directly overlooked the helipad, and we could look DOWN on the incoming Bo 105s etc. That was very weird, seeing it all from the 'wrong direction' as it were.

St George's, Chris?

Just had a very nice C-45 Expeditor go over the house, N45SK.
He came in from Iceland yesterday, and to-day is heading SE, no destination being shown on Flightradar24.
Lovely looking and sounding, and of course I did not have the camera to hand, DOH!  :banghead:

Yup, St George's, Tooting. I don't think it's in any UK t.v. programme ? Mind you considering where the procedure was that's probably a blessing

Captain Canada

We were at the Mud Run this weekend, about 45 minutes north of here. Standing around talking after the ride, and I hear a loud turboprop. At first I said it's an MU-2 heading into London. Then i could tell how big and fast it was, and said it's an A400. People not in the know said it was right above us, I said no, it's way past us now, she's booking ! Went and got my phone, brought up ADSB, and sure enough, RAF A400M travelling at 490 knots ! So cool.

I've not seen an RAF A400M Todd, but during my time working at YYC I saw a Luftwaffe A400M four times.

Spey_Phantom

just passed over this morning, an Airbus A400M Atlas, escorted by a pair of Belgian F-16's (an AM and BM version) on its delivery flight to Melsbroek Air Base, Belgium.
this aircraft, CT-01 (MSN104) is the first and only A400M to be operated on behalf of the Luxembourg Armed Forces.
