A couple of CH-53s transiting through CMH.  Headed west, then southwest.  Heard the noise, paused the airplane movie I was watching (Hanover Street.)  Forgot to grab my phone.

Two days ago actually, KC-46A Pegasus tanker.
Probably around 1500', appeared to be climbing out after taking off from Paine Field rather than in the pattern to land and probably on a test-flight rather than delivery. Pretty much directly over the house.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Did any spare parts or tools fall onto your roof?

Isn't the Pegasus a KC-46?

I thought the KC-45 was the cancelled Airbus USAF tanker bid.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

perttime

A small piston engined aircraft that had a more "full" voice than most. And then it did some aerobatics.

According to Flightradar24, there was an Extra in the area at that time.

Monday morning at about 10:30, flying over Leominster (70 miles from the sea)   a coastguard helicopter, heading North.  What WAS he doing so far inland?

I've seen them on the ground at Shawbury when visiting the RAF's Best Air Traffic Controller. Perhaps they're maintained there, all the other aircraft there are helicopters too of course.
