So many videos now of the planes flying into Newark/JFK/Laguardia/Teterboro.  At least people are finally looking up, maybe they'll become interested in astronomy.

They need to get out of the light pollution of the metro area to actually enjoy it.

What there will be left, after Musk gets his fleet into LEO...

While heading east along the A14, en route to Norfolk/Suffolk for a pre-Xmas break, we were buzzed at a pretty low level by an A-400M Atlas which had delusions of being a road sweeper I think. 

I had the sunroof cranked open at the rear and I heard the Atlas coming quite a time before it shot overhead and I was wondering what the strange noise was!

Just after 9 this morning, a total of  six Texans in line astern over our garden.   All at about 500 feet and VERY noisy.

Wish I could post the video. That sound ! Always nice to stay on the Detroit River waterfront in Windsor, ON, and see the   Chinooks follow the river.
