Are they also carrying 4 ASRAAMs or am I seeing something wrong?  Six AMRAAM + 4 ASRAAM makes for a pretty potent AA loadout.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I think it's only 2 ASRAAM, going by the second shot.  I think your seeing the ASRAAM from the right wing, rather than another on the left wing, it'd probably be mounted further forward?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Two yellow T-34s heading west; kinda odd as Lima Lima Lima is supposed to be in Illinois today - granted, they are heading in the right direction, but it's a bit far!

I think AD is right, look at the angle of the tail pipe and the undercarriage if it was the missile on the other wing wouldn't you see both tail pipes ?

Now I look at it again I'm not sure either way!

Sea King on Sunday, on Bridlington promenade while playing a round of Crazy Golf....  Anyway, it was close enough to see the serial & identification letter, ZA105 'Q' & a quick web search reveals she was the Sea King that saw service in the Falkands immediately post war.  Stationed at RAF Leconfield, part of E Flt, 202 Sqn.

Last Tuesday I noticed this trio of MiG-21s not far from one of my clients, today I went back with my camera:

They were located in a lot on part of the land that used to be the old Brno airport but is now a business park.

Fortunately they are behind a strong high fence, not near residential areas and not easy to see from the nearby street so that has kept them safe from vandals. Unfortunately, they are a good distance in from the fence and this is the best I could do with the weak zoom on my camera. I was not able to find anyone to let me onto the lot for a closer look. According to the signage on the fence, the lot is property of the University of Defence.

The closest aircraft is a MiG-21PF, behind that is a MiG-21 F-13. I couldn't see precisely what variant the furthest aircraft was, but based on what I could see of the front end and the look of the fin, I'd say it's either another F-13 or possibly a UM trainer version.

What a shame to see 3 lovely MiGs being left to rot. Somebody should at least try and do something.

Eastern spotter: Yay! New A320/737/F-16, finally the old junk is retired...

I have a feeling these ones are being looked after to a respectable degree.

There are some out there that truly are rotting away:

The Brno Technical Museum has a MiG-19 on display that looks like a banged up Beer can and its landing gear wells are corroded to hell and back.

Such is the lot of museum aircraft at times. Not alway's the museum's fault either.

Sitting in the garage, working on a project for the NDIA, I was treated to one of Selfridge's CH-47's flying DIRECTLY over the house!  Awesome...

Dudes, seriously cool day at Selfridge while on the golf course.

None of the 171st's KC-135's were around, but there were 3 of the 107th's F-16's on the ramp, while one was launching, screaming around the golf course on full burner, and doing touch and goes.  Awesome.

Then there was the HH-65 practicing on the other side of the base.

And then the coup de gras!  A CF-18 got confused and did it's best impression of one of the base's F-16's doing touch and goes.  It finally landed and parked near the F-16's.

Awesome!!!

Whilst visiting Sutton Hoo saw several Apaches trolling around, and a yellow SAR Sea King.

Continental 737-??? N14655 on final to Hopkins. I had went to the camera store to pick up my zoom lens (actually a new one, as they ran into problems fixing the old one, so it was replaced free of charge). It's a 55-200mm. It was kinda quiet this afternoon, no birds out, no nothing. There weren't even any planes taking off. Heard a jet noise and ran to the backyard and looked west, thinking one was taking off. Nope. Then I looked to the east and:

That's a 737-500 series.  Nice shot!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

thanks! they don't usually fly final approach over my house, so when they do, out comes the camera. (if you are familiar with the Greater Cleveland airspace and the area, finals usually fly south along I-71 and over I-480. sometimes, they'll come down the Brookpark Rd corridor if the wind's right.)
