Don't know current owner for sure but probably still Execair? http://www.airliners.net/photo/0929058/ Never seen a 427 myself.

Seen over my house (near Edinburgh airport) at about 4.30 on 5th August was a Japan Airlines 747-400 departing after dropping off passengers for a cruise ship. Second JAL one I know of here at EDI.

The rocket in the background looks like the Canadian Arrow which was an entry for the Ansari X-Prize that Scaled Composities won with Space Ship One/White Knight.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Captain Canada

That's what she is, Mossie ! Hard to win a prize for a future spaceship with an old V-2, eh ?

They're pointed the wrong way too, unless they turned it into a rival for the Bloodhound SSC! :drink:

Just the Usual stuff here - C-130s, C-5s, C-17s, and the occasional A-10.  The only interesting flying things are not airplanes:  The Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds have discovered my Mimosa tree.    Watching them is a miniature air show!

Not exactly over my house, but on the A285 coming back from Bognor today and the BBMF Dackota flew over low and slow. It had been performing at Tangmere with some of it's bretherin. Also saw the Havard but from about 5 miles away and through bino's as it was displaying over the museum. Not bad all in all.

Last night about 19:30 hrs I saw one of the BBMF Hurricanes pootle over the house. Looked really evocative as it was flying NNW and straight into the sun. Lovely

Not over my house but in Calgary right now, the only flying Lanc in North America is there until Wednesday then moves on to Abbotsford BC.  And I can't get down to see it --damn it  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's been doing flypasts all over Calgary and some lucky so-in-so's (12 of them) have manage to get a ride in it when it has flown.  It's on daily display and apparently quite a few thousand have got to climb through it.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Been extremely quiet in the skies above Schloss Jackson recently. Just the puddle-jumpers from Woodvale and the Microlights from the Ince Blundell Flying Club. Never known so quiet for so long

Heh . . . Not so quiet last night as a C-5 out of Dover AFB sounded like he was coming in my bedroom window.  He was loaded pretty heavy, I guess.  This was somewhere between midnight and, oh, 3:30 A. M. or so.
