These two aircraft are in "town" to assist in the production of ABC's Extreme Home Make Over which is filming an episode in our community. They are filming the air to ground sequences of the house being constructed. The family returns tomorrow so I imagine the aircraft will be filming their journey from the airport (near my place) to the new house. There is also a concert scheduled after their return as a fund raiser, so I image they'll film that as well.

Not today I know, but last week while in St Wolgang, Austria I saw both an Alphajet and a Ju-52   flying over Wolfgangsee.

One of the JP's that were visiting Woodvale a lot in the Spring came back for the weekend. It's still there today, but given that the wind is blowing 40kts today, cannot say I'm surprised !!

Humberside Police MD902.  Hovering close to my house, then doing lots of circuits, must have realised I was trying to take a photo!  Was there for more than half an hour, not sure what was going on.

I thought it was stationed at Leconfield, at least it has been at some point in it's life.  The Oscar99 (helicopters callsign) website came up blanks, but GINFO has it at Kirmington.  Yeah, it's strange that although Humberside has been defunct for over a decade, the airport, Police & Fire Brigade still use the name (& catchment area).  It was still hanging around a while after the post, the missus went out to the shops & said the road was blocked by a couple of Police cars, but I haven't heard anything on the news.

I saw that Piaggio Avanti again today that flys out of Detroit City Airport.  Hadn't seen it in years, then over our new facility, there it was while I was walking back from the test track.
