That's what I had assumed.   However, no reliable ID was possible, due to what I suspect was a slivovitz powered trucker causing considerable nausea at the time.   I have since read a report of such a character being arrested on the M6 near Brum.

They were pretty loud but didn't sound like Hornets. Must have been Eurofighters. They have a couple for testing at the air base. More types scheduled for the next month or so.

"The testing and evaluation event is organised in Finland so that each candidate's performance values can be verified under Finnish conditions and through tests designed in Finland. This guarantees fair and balanced evaluation for all the five candidates. "

My mum's report from Carlisle.  She was looking  into the park behind her house, and was rather surprised to see the local air ambulance land about ten yards away, on the other side of her back hedge. It was very blowy for a while, she says.

I hope she offered them a brew ?  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

She would have done if they'd stayed long enough.  I'm told they arrived, picked up a road accident victim and were off again in a couple of minutes. Probably off to the regional major trauma centre  in Newcastle.

We've had a lot of helicopter activity over us today. Can't identify the machine(s) cos cloudbase is about 150 feet and it's raining horizontal

Probably boring to most because of commonality but I STILL get a thrill out of T-38s. Couple days ago one flew directly overhead on the way around our airport and back to Texas and they were booking!!!  High subsonic speed and it was LOUD!

Anything BUT boring, I've never seen a T-38 ever, anywhere.  :banghead:

Surprising quiet, considering their size.  I had one fly over (twice) when I was living in Perth.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
