Finnish Air Force Learjet flying an approach. Again and again.

A larger business jet in white went over, before the Learjet(s) started appearing. Flightradar playback shows an unidentified Bombardier Challenger 350 at about that time.

More like in front of the house, but a red tail hawk zipping through the treeline between the house and street.

A SPITFIRE!  Yes, really.  ;D

A Mk IX I think, trundling westward over here at around 3000 ft, presumably from Duxford which is almost due east.

I heard it before I saw it of course.

Tampere. Some people like to call ot Tammerfors.
There's a Wing with all sorts of transport and research/experimental duties nearby in Pirkkala.

Not seen, but heard at 9:55 pm last night, a loud noise from outside.   Listening to the local news this morning, it turns out it was a meteor  (space rock, not aircraft) disintegrating  above Herefordshire.

The Beeb had an item about it this morning, and reported that people are being asked to look out for chunks of it lying on the ground!  :o

How am I supposed to tell a chunk of asteroid from a chunk of Gloucestershire?  :-\

They tend to be iron so a metal detector even just a magnet should tell you what you're looking, Kit.
