Interior color (Chromate yellow) applied to speed brake,gear wells and doors,cockpit and wings assembled and 2 of the gun ports filled,sanded and polished smooth I hope to get some Pit Pics before I close it up this time Nothing fancy though

Ok heres the pics first the pit



To modify the gun ports I slightly enlarged them and filled the top ports with streched sprue then cut the exess off with a knife sanded and polished the fill

Ok main assembely Complete and the Cammo applied I'll soon be decaling,weathering and getting on my final assembely.I'm also working on a decent backstory more like what Bri wrote rather than my usual Historical Documentary narrative type back story

Nev The kit is the Academy 1/72 F-86F the kit is a real gem and has great detail

Wow nice camo scheme there Panzer! It seems closer to Woodland camo than SEA. I'm thinking USAF - Europe. I will enjoy watching while you work on clearing up the mystery.

Well Guys the cammo was inspired by my Woodland BDU jacket and the use is going to be in Korea hence the "NEA" (NORTH East Asia) Designation.I'm doing a what if the peace talks stalled another couple of years or there were continued breakdowns in the Cease Fire's resulting in short Mini wars similar to the 6 day war or the Yom Kippur wars in the mideast.this saber a F-86F+ is going to have a Brace of 4x AIM-4D Falcon missles similar to the ones carried on the F-102 mounted on the 2 inner pylons in pairs.with drop tanks on the outter pylons.The aircraft is intended to fill in until the more powerful F-86H can arrive in sufficent numbers Just a lil rundown on my thoughts for the aircraft More pics to come

Wow what a killer idea, Panzer! I think a protracted Korean conflict is very intruiging. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more.

You've certainly captured Woodland style camo (minus the black) to a T.

Thanks for the compliments on the cammo guys Assembely and painting are almost complete,I have added the under wing stores and attached the landing gear & canopy.I want to add the decals and weather the aircraft before attaching the speed brakes to make that job easier
