Whilst I know this particular GB has already finished, I want to display the one entry that I managed to get completed whilst I was 'Missing presumed Lost'.

May I present the Hawker P1121 'Hotspur'

This is the Heritege Vacform kit that I got at last yeasr nationals.. The nice thing was the resin inserts and metal under carridge. This was also my first crack at a vac form kit and I had a real blast building her. Although I HATED the bloody canopy!!!!!
Anyway, she is in the markings of 892 NAS Fleet Air Arm with a Dark Sea Grey/Light aircraft Grey scheme. Contrary to the suggested scheme I know, but I hit on the idea while I was looking at the colour scheme on the instruction sheet. The green was so faint as to be non existant so I got to thinking that the DSG/LAG scheme looked kind of sexy, and that was that.
She is armed with 2 Firestrak missiles from the spares box and 2 150 gallon drop tanks from the kit. Hope you like her

Absolutely gorgeous, Lancer! That Royal Navy scheme is one of the most eye-catching ones around. Really impressive work!

Fantastic! More pics please! What did you do for the afterburner?

Now where is Trevor's or have I missed it?
How many more P1121s will appear on this forum? I've built one and when I've recovered from the trauma will build my second.

You're right there, but I'd build a second one as I thouroughly enjoyed bulding it.  Might make a bomb hauler out of the next one. Oh, and add a few things like IFR probe and such
