Here is some pics of my latest "Hotel" model.

As I travel a bit I need to take kits along that I can work on without to much drama. Armour fits the bill.

Plus it's fun :P

This is Dragons new premier boxing. Pretty damn good. Straight out o the box it's got etched brass aluminum barrel etc.

Pretty good value.

Another shot.

This is about 5 - 6 nights work.

The tracks are the magic link tracks. What can I say but wow. They are amazing way better than the old individual links and worlds apart from Vinyl

Thatlooks good so far, Sisko. I've got the Dragon Tiger 1 in all its phtoetch and turned aluminum glory. Still a bit intimidated by it actually... But anyway, what direction would you be going with this? Real world of whiff?

Woah that's nice, Sisko! You did all this work in hotel rooms? Wow impressive! I can't wait to see where this one goes.

Well I am undecided.

To this end I ordered an aluminum barrel for a soviet Js-3 which had about the same size gun.

I was thinking an Egyptian JagdTiger with a soviet gun for action against the Isreali's

Or I could finish it as a non whiff.

Don't know yet.

Well I decided to go ahead and make this a real world Jagtiger.

I am seriously thinking of doing a soviet version for some later date. Would look cool as an egyptian whif.

Here she is all finished and ready for some paint!

I've been more and more impressed with some of the Dragon kits.  The few I've built have been really very nice, and lots of extras, too.

So how do you paint these when "en Hotel"?  That's gotta be the toughest part of the build, due to the potential mess. . .

WOW Bad arse model ,excellent execution and it's nice to know someone else has to fight through the motel hell ;D   How the heck do you do the painting anyway :o

Sisko, you are one of my favorites when it comes to painting, so I'm really curious, how the heck do you paint armor after it's built? Isn't it tough to reach all those nooks nad crannys?

This is a great looking kit and very well built, don't forget to share pics once you've got her painted and weathered.

As an Egyptian Whif, that would be an interesting thought there - what if the Germans had actually put more muscle on North Afrika and Rommel had managed to push through Egypt?  I'm not sure how Egypt would get Jagdtigers, but hey what the hell, it might indeed look pretty cool.  Afrika Korps would be another neat concept.
