Well I  built a Mirage IIIE and a 5 in Japanese colours two years back, then did the JMSDF Harrier at the begining of this year for the SIG theme at this years Nats, so it's about time I started on another something Japanese from the What-If world.







My last three completed 'real world' models are all IJAAF types, so it sort-of balances out in a Buddhist/Zen kind of way.... appropriate, huh ?

So here's my thoughts....

A-4MJ Skyhawk or a Kawasaki/BAe Harrier FGR Mk.88 (JASDF version of the GR7) or another Mirage IIIEJ (this time in warpaint as opposed to an aggressor scheme like the previous one).

At the moment I like the idea of the Skyhawk..... we shall see !

And of course I built an F-8EJ Crusader in white/light blue/mid blue aggressor colours (1/48th) years ago. Still got it somewhere.

I'm thinking a bit post-war now, so an F-84J could be nice, as well as something like the F-6J Skyray

And apart from the Lightning, the F-106J and Mirage III, what about the F-105J Thunderchief?
