St. John's is an awesome airport to plane spot. Any given day you can see stuff from all over the globe. On my flight out, I saw a CDN Herc, a US herc, somebodys Coast Guard Dash-8 ( it was white w/ yellow bands ) and a USN C-9 ? Nightengale ? No pics of those, tho......

Also got to tour the HMCS St. John's. Only pic I got, tho, as my memory card was full from drunken stupidity at a party the night before !

And one for posterity, our staff house downtown. The lease expires at the end of July. Oh well, we had some good times there. A few beers with friends, and also spent the night of my tenth anniversary there with my lovely wife.

Yup, you bet, Robert ! We're supposed to be getting our first ones in '08. The Sea King boys at the St. Thomas airshow were actually handing out CH-148 Cyclone stickers...I guess they're pretty excited about it !

Just got myself up-to-date on the other thread, I missed your reply on it. It is a smart looking helicopter

The Navy one wouldn't have all those windows surely?
