Interior sprayeded its' basic matt black today. Not much detail in it at all so will be able to finish it tomorrow afternoon, then start painting the airframe proper. Spent a few minutes before coming to work going through the five files worth of Aeromaster/Cutting Edge/Superscale etc, etc sheets. There's a couple of P-47 & P-51 sheets that look like they could be VERY useful in providing the nose-art  ;)

Todays progress:

Cockpit area faired-in, isn't TIPPEX great for this sort of thing !

Halfords acrylic 'Aluminium' straight from the rattle can.

There it is all masked again ready for the next metal tone. Amazing how much you can get achieved when the little 'un is back in nursery !!

Wow that rattle-can Aluminum (or "Aluminium" as you Brits say) really looks great Ian! What is Tippex? Is that one of those U.K. only products like Bovril, Marmite, Twiglets :ill:  and pork pies?

Brian,
If I recall, Tipix is the same as our White Out.

Tippex = White-Out = Typewriter correction fluid = great for small scale blending and filling.

Upon seeing that paint scheme I thought you might have changed your mind and decided to do a 332d Fighter Group "Redtails" (i.e. Tuskegee Airmen) bird.
