You, the people decide.  Does my 501 squadron hack wear the grey/green scheme or the tan/green scheme?

Gotta be Tan.

The grey just doesn't look right.

I've gone with the grey/green, because it looks so unusual.  That scheme would stand out from the crowd a bit.

Rad, it's not like you to go with the flow!!!!  :o    You feeling okay?!?!? :P
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

My first choice was orange, but since it wasn't on the poll, I voted Tan/Green.

Gotta be the Tan/Green option. How about this for an idea - A tan/blue scheme, just to be different....

Tough call, Nev.....they're both beautiful ! I forgot how nice Japanses Phantoms were. But after looking at your links, I'd say the grey. Just looks so mean.

I think the grey looks more aggressive, but either would be good.

Bugger it Todd, we're losing.....  Come on, if you want the grey/green vote now!!!!!

I know that it's absolutely no help whatsoever, but personally I'd do it a nice plain shiny grey with large full colour markings. Hacks are usually so pristine too !

Ian, one of my trio will be in grey, the 2nd will be blue, this is for the 3rd one ;)

Ohhhh alright then..... well the Tan scheme would be my pref, but those colours aren't easy to match, one of the guys asked about them on the 'general' forum a couple weeks back..... I dug-out the refs for him, he may be persuaded to share if you ask nicely !  ;)

I know the FS numbers for the tan/green version, but I'm not telling 'cause I want the grey/green one! :P  :P  :P

Oh, go on then!  FS37302 Stone, FS34907 Dark Green, FS34108 Medium Green over white.  You can find the original profile on Don Color Nev. ;) http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/main_e.htm

Thanks Mossie - I'd actually rooted out the FS colours elsewhere, they are quite difficult to find as off-the-shelf paints though.  Might just have to go with "closest match using human eyeball Mk.1" ;)
