This would be a good time to point out that I have a thing for A-4s
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

This, of course, will be incredibly weathered low-viz grey, the roundels being all PINK

If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

No, most definitely NO !

However it will be an 'overwater four-tone' camouflage pattern, not too disimilar to the one seen on my JASDF Mirage 5......  ;)

Just ordered an Eduard pre-painted set for this wee beastie.... so y'all know I'm going to be taking this one seriously  :o - Will start to lock heads with it on Friday, now that the Meteor is almost done.

Well after a wee delay the Eduard cockpit set arrived yesterday. It's change-over day tomorrow, so hopefully I can get into the paint-shed and start throwing paint at it. I anticipate that the build will be fairly rapid, having just finished a 'C', as for the painting....

Drool...

So what scheme will it be in?
How did the country lose its way...when did we stop rooting for the man with a flame-thrower or an acid-spraying gun of some kind?

Battle is joined !

As you can see from the first three pics, I have sprayed the insides of the flap and slat recesses red. The separate nose section needed a wee bit of attention from my favourite 'blending' tool.... T I P P E X !

Here's the rear of the droptank. You get two types of tail section, the early domed type and the far more common finned type. Of course, because I'm building mine with a centreline tank, I had to quickly fabricate a 'capped' tail with a little plastic card

And here it is all taped-up. Since these shots were taken about ten days back, I've rubbed down the nose section and decided to leave the wing slats shut.

Thanks for looking. As ever all comments, questions and crit's are welcomed.
