If you like the P-40 you like my new model even more, I am building a Ki 100 and will use what I learned about weathering the P-40 and apply it to the Ki-100.
One thing that is slowing me down is painting the cockpit, I have the Japanese Aircraft Interiors book by Monogram (a very nice book!) but it does not help me that much because the Japanese used quite a few different cockpit colors and it is tough deciding which ones are correct for my aircraft. Also some aircraft have no information about their cockpits because the information does not exist anymore. And to make matters worse the Arrii kit has a cockpit that does not come close to the real one, there are errors all over the place making painting it a chore.
