Here is my entry for the one week build.  It's the first model I've built since February and it was so nice to get back at the workbench.

Kit is the Hasegawa A-4E/F.  I've got sevreal in the stash, but this was the first I've built, and it is just about a perfect kit.  I may eventually build another OOB as a USMC A-4F.

The build thread is in the GB forum.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Well done!  Trying to capture an aircraft in flight is always a challenge and trying to depict action such as a weapon release is even more challenging.  I think you have managed to pull off both with this one.

I take it that the targeting pod is mounted on the centerline pylon?

Thats a 30mm Aden cannon pod on the centreline. The same pod as is attached to the Hawk.

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

The centerline pod is the designator-a British TIALD designator/imaging pod.  The Adens are not very visible in the shots posted, but they are the same as the Israeli DEFA guns.  The barrels stick out from fairings under the fuselage, directly under the space where the 20mm guns were mounted internally.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
