I've got one boxing of Valom's Airacuda, the YFM-1B.  It's not bad, some of the details like the exhaust a bit chunky, not much interior detail but panel lines look good.  I've not built it, but I've test fitted some of the parts and fit looks reasonable, with a fair bit of PSR likely to be required but not extensive.

It seems like it's one of those 'needs a bit of work but worth the effort' kits.  Here's a link to a build:

"exhaust a bit chunky"?? Try completely and utterly wrong. The exhaust plumbing
was under the skin in all models, turbo or not. I've one partially built in an ongoing build
and correcting the exhaust is the biggest headache.  :banghead:  :banghead:

Our spiders are too large.

Do you not sleep?

It's not whether I sleep but when....

Right now, 10.22am, just got up an hour ago, I could sleep.....

I did some research on sleeping a while ago when Fat Hamsters daughter was flirting with polyphasic sleeping.
I found out that the human body functions best when having two sleep periods a day.
In other words siesta is where it's at.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

They HAVE to be kidding...........

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Bristol Bombay has also been refreshed in the Future release on Hannants and Valom so perhaps its finally due out soon.

HLJ says Jan 2015 release.  So expect to actually see one in June.

Bugger me.  Accurate predictions.

That's crying out for the inner nacelles from a Lanc to give it Merlins and retracting wheels.

The German (approximate) equivalent of the Bombay is the little-known Junkers Ju53 (http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,33915.msg534632.html#msg534632).  I can see this being Anglicised at some point.

I like that idea. Hercules radials from the Mk.II or a Halifax would be even better! And would confuse a lot of people no end.... ;D

Bristol proposed the Type 144, which was to use the wing, forward and rear fuselage and empennage of the Type 130 'Bombay', a new center section with under the floor bomb carriage, and retractable undercarriage. Pegasus engines were retained. The description is in
the Putnam on Bristol, no drawings.
