Yet another masterpiece, Rafa! the build alone would be way cool, but the backstory takes it to another level!
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

If I may ask what are the boxes on the nose? To tell you the truth they do spoil the lines a bit.

You've worked some real Whiff magic on this Eagle amigo! I love how you modified the exhausts to create something that would fool subscribers of Jame's Defense Weekly and the color scheme is especially nice. Of course, we all know about the amazing aeronautical skills of Zac!

Thanks for doing this kit far more justice than I ever could!

Thanks, amigos!!!

I didn't expect this one to revive. It was a very fun build. Messing with the Eagle and giving it a new lease in life while the Raptor cooked up and solved its problems was a fetching idea.

Ray, I agree. The boxes forward of the canopy are horrible. To be honest, those were a half-a**ed attempt to make a cluster like the last block F-16s have in the same place.

Wow, Rafa.  This is ridiculously good.  From the backstory to the model itself:

That aft-end of this bird is giving me a serious styrene itch...must fight the urge to copy this fantastic idea!

I suppose that sort of conversion is child's play to a man who can build anything he wants from cardboard and all the other innovative materials you've used over the years.

Este es su mejor hasta ahora

Well either way it's a pretty sweet looking thing :)

Sweet F-15 Rafa, would it be possible to get some more pics under better lighting conditions? I'm intrigued by the external load out under the wings as I've been thinking something similar for my rendition of a USAF F-15E+

Thanks, Shas

Unfortunately, the Maserati donated its weapons load to another project

But the Loadout was simple: a couple of sidewinders on each of the inboard twin rails, with a fuel tank underneath, and one Slammer on each outboard pylon.

Just the words I would like to say (while... replacing "killer" by "wonderful") ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
