S-3 Viking, US-3 Viking COD, and ES-3 Shadow

A couple of years back, Sentinel Chicken did a series of S-3 profiles, and he included a re-worked model used for COD and other duties, like so:



and here's the modification details:

Always wondered if the S3 would have been a good small nation Patrol aircraft like Ireland? or Cyprus?

Stretching one out a bit and converting it to a small gunship might be interesting for some nations.....Israel, Colombia, Pakistan, etc.

My VSTOL S-3 design has the engines fitted flush to the underside of the wing, one cut down 1/72nd Harrier fuselage on each side, and a twin-fin tail section so I can make the rear ramp wider. Also thinking of doing a four engined S-3 with the extra engines mounted at the weapons pylon positions.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
