Hi Gang,

After some discussion and thought, I've decided to dig up some of my 'buried' previous whiff builds.  Most have suffered from various moves and storage, but here's a small selection anyhoo.

First up, the 32nd scale Glencoe XV-1 knocked up as a spec ops bird much like my earlier profile.

Next up, the Airfix Pe-2, knocked around quite a bit, but modded as a single seat Shturmovik type machine.

Maverick

Next, the Airfix SH-2F, modded up as a USMC spec ops support gunship.

Maverick

Now the Airfix Widgeon or Gosling,

I've made this a turboprop machine for USAF spec ops duties.

And now, what started as a Hasegawa Ki-84.

Then, the Italeri Do-217K.

This is an attempt at a high-altitude bomber-recce ship.

Maverick

And now, Lindberg's rather odd sized He-100

Maverick

Matchbox's G-91Y has suffered but the end result is a US Army machine.

Maverick

And now, the Monogram F-16XL

Next, MPM's 'arse-ender', lol

Revell's P.1099B 'Heavy Armour' cops a minor mod with a backdate to the earlier P.1099 armament, but with it's port guns being replaced by a large bore cannon (sourced from the Airfix Mosquito)

Finally, one of those atrocious Asian knock-offs in the guise of an F-16B.

As a final note, all these except the XV-1 are 72nd scale and brush painted.  I realise that they aren't quite up to the standards we regularly see here, but my only excuse is they were, for the most part, built in the late 80s - early 90s, excepting the two Revell Luft-46 jobbies.
