I am really enjoying this build so far, and making good progress. I plan to do this in the early Starfighter scheme of NMF fuselage and gloss white wings with high-vis markings and colourful tail art.

Was there a specific reason why NMF Zippers(not just japanese) had their upper wings painted white ? Perhaps as a heat reduction measure ?

I've been looking at those 102s and 106s at my LHS, and it does look like a nice kit !
