May I suggest we are being told something here by our Chinese friends:

We should really get this happening this year - I will even volunteer to be Mod!

Regards,

Greg

Hmmm, you might well be on to something there!

This idea has loads of potential!

Think....

A B-1B in Euro 1 camo that fades to tiger stripes with a tiger eye on the tail or some eyes (made out of see through vinyl on the canopy

A NA/W-10 with the leading edges flamed with tiger stripe fill

A AV-8B orange to yellow to white gradient with digital tiger stripes

Oh boy, I am off to the drawing board... toodleloo

upnorth

Definitely a most interesting proposition, this GB

Maybe an operational version of the Lion class?

Or make your own - maybe a British equivalent to the Yamato class?

Greg

I like.

I have a current build on-going, the "White Raven", a Norse Raven Class Pirate Space ship that is in "Tiger" markings/camouflage, albeit in non-standard tiger colours!

I once did a 1/72nd F-15A (lovely ESCI kit) many years ago in Red Tiger markings of the Imperial Roman Air Force, and more recently have done a Red Tiger Mirage III if the same bunch in 1/48th.

Must get on with the "White Raven", but there's a screw-powered, waterline model of a RN Battleship on the stocks, which could well become a HMS Tiger circa 1943   Tiger stripes/camouflage.

I thougt that 439 "Fangs of Death" was the Canadian Tiger Squadron.....

Anyhoos, I already have my model for this one, very close to the workbench, should be a fairly rapid build too !

Confuscious (maybe)

Silver Fox

424 (Tiger) or 439 (Sabre Toothed Tiger) Sqdns would both work, and 410 (Cougar) has been known to do stripes as well.

Funny, when I was serving we didn't put an 'n' in '439 Fangs of Death'. Tiger, Tiger... meow. :) Inter-squadron rivallry is a wonderful thing.

Just giving this a gentle bump:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
