I'll be there lads & I might actually be able to bring something finished.....  Feckin ell!!!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

U will be missed chris, but your prefered meathod of warming the venue up wont be LOL

Went to the King Tut exhibition at the Dome the other day (fantastic place now HMG arn't envolved). The final display area is meant to portray the tomb as discovered. One thing missing after 2,000 years of stale air however, so I added that distinct musty smell you get in old places    Look on some of the 9/10 year old kids faces was priceless and then the giggling started

Then went in the pub over the way.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Sadly I can't be at Huddersfield-I have to prepare a presentation for work

Thanks for those.
A good show.
Makes us realise, though, that we need to weild the axe to reduce the clutter for the SMW08 display. I know it'll be limited to RAF aircraft only, but such congestion just meams the view is too overwhelming to take in and models aren't given their full appreciation. My opinion anyway.
Also....anyone take a picture of the "Gilded Lily" on the Stafford stand? White and gold(of course).

Yeap its a bit hard that one Terry as a few of us only had a tken model on the SIG stand with the rest elswhere, but sheer numbers attending and displaying led to a larger number of models this time around.

Good show all the same, just a shame about the parking farse

I have to say I agree with terry and I myself are one of the worst culprits for brining the truck etc at the weekend, so I agree with limiting the amount and range of display kits until the powers at be give us at least 8 double tables!!!!
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

I think a way around these problem is if on the day more than say two kits turn up with a simler subject (eg four raf eagles turn up) then we should only place out the best two which show the idea best for the local show or if they are local, haveing decided amounst our selfs and the owners of the other two given priority for the next show.

If there's too many, you can always change the display on the Sunday to accomodate some that had been left out?

It wasn't so much the 15 minute hike as the 45 minute crawl round Huddersfield's one-way system trying to find a parking spot!
