Seeing That the Piston Perfection build is showing much promise, how about one for jets?

Now's an interesting time for jet fighters; we've got long-awaited Raptors and Typhoons coming around, a dizzying array of fighters from China, Iran, India, and the like, and just about everyone has a stealth fighter at least on the drawing board.

The rules:

1. Subject must be a whiff. Out-of-the-box whiffs like OOB F-19s are okay but what's the fun in that?

2. Subject must be a modern jet. By jet I mean that it is moved through some sort of jet propulsion, even rockets and ramjets.

By modern I mean that the design went into service after the mid-1960s. If its older, then it better be upgraded all to heck(like an F-20 Tigershark). Look up "Fighter Aircraft" on wikipedia and you'll find a list of 4th, 4.5th, and 5th generation fighter planes.

3. Subject must at least be theorhetically capable of shooting down another airplane routinely, even if it doesn't normally. Meaning that an SR-71 would be out, but an F-111 would be in, barely.

4. No UAVs. Unless they come with a carrier/controller aircraft, which must also be built. What's the point if the bad guys can't shoot you down as well?

5. The more high-tech doodads the better. Stealth, forward swept wings, canard foreplanes, thrust vectoring, lasers, adaptive camoflage, anything to make it the most bad-arse jet flying. When in doubt, add canards. If it already has canards, add stealth-spats.

Well, I was thinking of building my F-20E Single seat FSW Fighter Bomber in Venezuelan Air Force service (Prequel alert!  Prequel alert!) to go with my 2-seat F-20F

I was also thinking of arming a MiG 1.44 and putting it in either Peruvian or Colombian camo.

Absolutely.

When I first thought this up, I had Flankers, Raptors, Typhoons, and the like in mind, but I decided not to make it so restrictive because some of the most interesting planes are made up of modern technology mated with 50's era aerodynamics, like the F-20, J-8, and of course, ultramodern F-4s
