OK, I'm on a gloss white "kick" at the moment, with hopefully bright decals too.
So, aircraft that SHOULD have been painted ALL GLOSS WHITE but never were....

The Lightning...RAF (etc) of course

F-104 Starfighter...unbelievably glorious

MiG-21....yes I know the Chinese F-7 has appeared in white, but not those Soviet babies!

F-8 Crusader......what a cracker, in USCG markings?

I've been wondering how the CF-100 I just bought would look in RAF anti-flash white with wingtip Genies (or maybe nuclear Red Hebes).
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

i reckon most types look good in 'nuclear flash' colours...almost as good as the 'chocolate bomber' scheme !!!

Radish,

Nah, the best use of Gloss White is on the undersides only.  This, leaving the rest of the bird in all its NMF glory!

SAC got it right in the 50's and it's been all downhill since!

Perhaps a number of the nuclear version of the AIM-26 under the wings?

Or, if you're wanting something really dangerous, how about an all-white Arrow with anti-flash markings carrying one or more AIM-68's.  And perhaps a radar-guided version counterpart with a AIM-47 or AIM-54 seeker section?

I'd say a B-58 Hustler is natural for anti flash white and low vis roundels.

An Anti-flash White B-58 Hustler is a must....nice RAF Roundels too.

What about a Soviet Navy MiG-27?

Chinese Navy Harrier or Sea Harrier?

An RAF Marlin of course.

How about The White Arrows? Aerobatic team for the RAF or from 616 South Yorkshire Squadron?....Hunters, Lightnings, Phantoms, Typhoons?

Seriously consideing an all-white 1/48th MiG-27 ('cos I've got one!)

I think some JASDF F-104J's were in all over white?  White wings definately, but I'm sure I've seen an all white one although I can't find a pic.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Not that I've ever seen.  I've got a book I picked up in Japan that goes serial by serial on every single JASDF F-104J/DJ, and I can't find a white one.  Many (if not most) F-104s that weren't camouflaged had white wings, at least on the upper surfaces however.  JASDF ones were NMF or light grey (the Okinawa based ones), or later were camouflaged in all kinds of wild schemes, including some aggressor ones with a lot of white on them.

Hmm, it's maybe it the pale grey ones I'm thinking of.
