The Blackburn Blackbeard (spaying tomorrow) was to be white all over, but it may gain some colour on the uppersurfaces now....I'm thinking RAF SEAC colours, all a bit dirty and faded....you know what I mean.

Geoff gave me the temptation of a Chinese Navy Tornado GR.1 in gloss white, that'll be a great partner for the Sea Harrier in gloss white.

And, of course, the Chinese Navy "wants" the Su-34 as a replacement for the Tu-16. Or they might have Tu-22Ms from the Ukraine??

What about RAF Bones??

Just had an amazing idea...more later

Was the Seahawk ever all white?   It would compliment the corpulent cutie.

All white Seahawk? Nice!!

I've been looking to see if there was an all-white Hunter...haven't found a real one yet, but then again, I might fancy a gloss white RAF "Air Vice Marshall" one, based on an F6....cause I've a "few" Revell ones

I did an all-white RN F-8E Crusader, all heavily weathered and fully loaded for the fighter-bomber role, based on HMS Sutherland in the Vietnam era.....1/48th and must be in the loft.

The Blackbeard is veering towards an all-white concept again.

Did I mention the French Navy P-38L with Suez stripes? I've a diecast model painted as such, and I'm thinking of finishing an Academy P-38 (1/48th) that's been hanging around for a while.

I've got an all-white number in the works that'll blow your minds....

....no, it doesn't have spats.  Sorry Brian.

How about an SR-71 in white for daylight ops?  Black or white tend to be chosen for airframes subjected to kinetic heating, why not white instead???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Blackburn Blackbeard MRS.2 is ready for a complete all-over white coat. It'll be "pristine" too, and as "on display" at IAT 99. Full colour markings, possibly, and loaded with most likely "dummy" sea Eagles and fuel tanks, plus a couple of Sidewinders.

I like the gloss white SR-71 idea...really unusual.
JHM suggested a gloss white F-117 that could look quite spectacular.

I'm thinking of a gloss white Hunter F.6 as the personal hack of AVM Jackson, circa 1958.

Just remembered, Zactoman did SR-71's & F-117's in Thunderbird schemes, close enough for some inspiration!

More fodder for ya Rad, talking about it in the New Gnat thread.  Gnat V-Bomber, antiflash-white with a delta wing & sh*t-loads of ordanance hanging off it.  Even scalorama it to 1/144 & pop a weapons bay in!  Names, Vole, Vermin, Varmint???
