F/a-18a In Mottled Camoflage Pt 2

Some of you may remember this model. When I last posted the pics they didn't have such great resolution. Well now I have gone from a 1.2 Mgp camera to a 6.0 mpg camera. So here are some nwer pictures of my F/A-18A  in the mottled camo.

I used a sponge dipped in grey paints to get it to mottle like it did. The base color was Flat Gull Grey with Light Ghost Grey and Gunship Grey to contrast.

It was a small pain to do and after I put on the decals  only then did I realize that they practically belnded in with the camo to well . Still It was fun to try and come up withan alternate way of the way the Navy jets look after they have been out to sea.
