Yes the old Cosford show is making a return in 2008. on its usual date as well. the 6th of April.  The SIG has two tables booked for a stand. make the date available gents. I know our brothers the TSR 2 SIG have space as well so should be a good show, plus the museum to play with as well.
I always hope for the best.

Might be able to make it, its a good drive but also a good excuse to have mosey around the museum!  Last time I visited it was after Telford & it didn't get fairly late in the afternoon.  They started shutting early so I didn't get to have a good look around & the Cold War Hangar wasn't quite open then.  They were pushing us out & gave us some dodgy reason as to why, I just think that because the museum was quiet the staff wanted to get off on a flyer!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

the paper work telling us where our stand is located has arrived.

We are loctaed in hanger two, underneath the nose of the Bristol 188, facing the Faiery FD-2. Next door is my branch (coventry and warwickshire) Our brothers in the TSR-2 SIg are located under the port wing of XR220. also in hanger two.

gates open for set up at 8am. once unloaded all exsibitor cars for hanger two/three and the visitor centre are to be parked on the pan at the north end of hanger two. (streight up to the end of the hanger and turn left (past were the DH Comet 1 used to be parked). show opens to joe public at 10am and finishes at 4, the museum closes at 6pm, and like the museum its free to get in. The show manager asks that we take any rubbish we generate (food wrappers, coke cans ect) home as the museum is unable to deal with the amount of trash a  show of this size normaly generates.
There are no model stands in the cold war hall, so for those of us who havent seen it yet, its free of any distractions
I always hope for the best.
