This might ruffle a few feathers.  It's been mentioned, but how about an Unmanned Vehicle GB?  I say vehicle so we could allow for UAV's, UCAV's, UGV's, UUV's, or any other acronym I've missed.

Unicraft do the only kit's that I'm aware of modern UAV's, although Accurate Minatures are due out a 1/72 Predator & Global Hawk.  I think there's kits of the Firebee & D-21 drones too although I don't know who kits them.  But why stick to the 'real world'?  Build your own!  I know some aren't so keen on UAV's so why not build a parody???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm in! This could produce some crazy stuff. I'll probably scale-o-rama my 1/48 Strv into a 1/35 UGV(?).

That's a pretty cool idea.   Just Tuesday evening, I asked The Missus if the bottom half of 21st Century's Stuka wing tanks looked like those bazillion legged crustateans....she said "Yes.".      And then when they were put together my thought "there's room for a camera, very long wings, a teeny power plant..."and the idea of a SowBug Predator UAV was born.

I might be in this one.   ^_^

Well, I already built the MiG-29 UAV without the excuse of a GB, so how could I resist this?  ^_^  I'm in if this goes ahead

Well, we've got a few interested!  Thought we might struggle with this one, but so far so good.  Some nice ideas!

Thanks for the Firebee link Robert.  I've remembered that the M-21/D-21 comes with the Italeri SR-71, & maybe the Revellogram one too.

Greg, I guess your the man to ask to post some inspiration!  I've got a few pics I post, but it's past my bedtime!

Well, if I must  .

Here is some inspiration:

Uninhabited (to use the non sexist term) vehicles come in all shapes and sizes.

Some are large:

Some aren't:

Some are based upon existing aircraft:

and some don't even fly:

I unashamedly like UVs.

BTW,  Just because it might be uninhabited, doesn't mean you can't have a large loadout:

I know the UCAV F-35 has at least been looked at by our PD folk; I don't know more than that though it wouldn't be that difficult a conversion to make. *chuckle* Actually, getting rid of the canopy would free up some real estate in a crowded area.

I've seen COMPANY PROPRIETARY bits on several Skunk Works programs, at least one of which looks to be a worthy foe, at a minimum, to the Dark Sword shown above.

As a non-Uwhateveruwannacallit fan in the real world, I tend to look at them from scale-o-rama point of view as manned units, but then that's me. :P
