Inspired by the modern GDR thread, what if the Cold War never ended?  

Cancelled projects don't get cancelled.....A-12s and Comanches a go-go?
Popular squadrons don't get disbanded....19 Squadron Eurofighters, RAF Wildenwrath 1997?
Proxy wars are fought through well equipped clients states....Libyan Mig-29s?

The Avro Arrow, and TSR don't get cancelled and are flying even today in much converted models than from the prototypes.

........there is scheduled to be a 1/48 Arrow arriving either today or tomorrow......
and there is a Trumpy 1/48 pear-shaped (surprised???) Vigilante that was purchased during a great Luckymodel sale that won't get built unless it's a what-if because I don't want to fix the bloody thing.


Hmmmm....       I'll express interest.

Most definitely not - what about some Leopard IIs or Abrams or Challengers with 140mm main guns?



OR some of the Predicted FST series Soviet Tanks some of which had up to 1 152mm main gun!

ALready got a Hawk200 PDI planned for the SIG theme for this year, but I guess it can do double duty foro this GB as well.

I seriousl;y like the idea of some 'borrowed' Russian/Soviet hardware in use at Boscome down DAC over Whiltshire....If I may, I'd like to borrow this idea from you Nick and run with it a bit. That ok?

I would love to do some targets....err I mean armour as for this as well. Anyone out there got any reference sites that they can point me to for ideas?
