Mission Log Day: 2 Jan 15 2008 : (Blacklions B-day (19)

Models worked on

F/A-36A Typhoon---- Completed, minor clean up around trhe nose, and bomb load to be painted but, airacraft is done, pics 2maro

F-111I---- Completed, Under surface currently drying, clean up my be need once tape is removed pics later today)

A-10A---- Custom camo, Layers one - three out of five total added, pics later 90% complete

AT-2A---- 100% completed, lower surface drying, clean up my be needed

HS-3C---- 99% complete, deadline missed, but with this paint job im not winning anything with it anyway so its cool, 4 coat of organe on, left side finished as is upper and lower surface, right side and landing gear added 2maro

ok update for today / this hour anyway

HS-3C' right side got its second coat of paint, one more to go, then ill be done, A-10A is  1/2 a coat away from being done, i ran out of dar green paint, so im wait a few hours to go back to the store i just left about 5 min ago  , the F-15C's i getting its rear quarter painted today, the M/A-37F has its pit painted, the F-16 is still missing a wing  , the F-111I should be done by tonight, minus its bomb load of couse, umm oh yea gonna start my SH-65A Miami Dolphin Helo, i wanta get it to the 50% mark by the time the Sports GB starts up, I'm still scared of my Hase AV-8B+ to start it ( theres like 10 or 12 differnt spruces), wich when i finish it will be built as the True Lies bird after it was modified into a B+, im goanna get another jump Jet to do as the True Lies jet,  MLHS has Gr.3 but its 1/72 RAF, so im still lookin


im trying to get as many donw b4 school starts up next tuesday....

update for yesterday

Models worked one:

F-15C: first coat of light grey on, masked for the next level, im not saying anything yet, but  i will say that this Eagle about to have an idenity crisis

M/A-37F: All exterior parts added, pit painted, to get first coat of camo when i wake uop later today

S-3B: still undecied what to do with this, but first coat of paint goes on all but the engine pods, again after i wake up again

SH-65A: Interior put togeter...sorta, gonna give it a coat of black, and the exterior will get its orange, then ill leave it alone till the GB..maybe

F-111I: well i have to sand off what i did yesterday, i forgot the gunship grey i sprayed before was enamel, and the ghost grey wasnt...yea.. im an idiot

AT-37C: finished, i did the same thing as above  but the way the paint cracked up looks so good im gonna leave it the way it is, just got to paint the bottom and it will be done

AT-2A: all finished, just got to do the bomb load and call it a day

well the production line has been shut down for the past few days, mu knee has been killing me and school is about to start up again

i have a F-16C to do as a Tuskegee Airmen tribute, and a F-15E i think im going to try my had at tiger stripes with this one

so look for me to slow down a bit but not much

Maybe I need to set up a production line...you seem to get a heck of a lot done in a short period of time! Lot's of camo, I love camo!

actully, i really should stop, as we're getting ready to move by this time next year, so its alot easier to pack a flat box then a delicate model plane, thats why all of the tails arent completly sealed to the aircraft so i can detach them 4 transport
since i have been getting some REALLY cold weather up here in NJ ( for those of u in area keep in mine i been in GA for the past 7 years and havent seen a snow flake that entire time )

i havent painted any of my models so the line is at a temporary hold untill i can hobble outside and use a spray can ( brushes and airbrushes dont get along with me very well, see my early pics of the HS_3C)

how ever i do have the F-15E I of the tiger almost done and the AL ANG F-16 is next in line, still have alot to cross off the list

BTW, your AV-8 from "True Lies" was 162946, now remanufactured as a B+ BuNo 165383.

now i need to get a B model AV-8 instead of the B+ i have ( not ready to back date something just yet
