Hi Eddie,
Your Welcome, because of health limitations I don`t get out much and definately don`t get invited to those sort of parties so if I didn`t put it here no one else would see.

Besides my ego needs inflateing constantly due to a slow leak ;D

Watching you put this one together is more fun than an episode of of the Dave Allen Show! I'm always impressed by the little details you add which make your dioramas so realistic and it's a treat to get a glimpse behind the curtain and see how the magic is done. Thanks, HOG!

Brian, nothings funnier than a Dave Allen show, which now I think of it seems like a series of pilot progs` for Father Ted......Hmn

Continuing with the build, bits above now added:-

Sorry pics arn`t to clear but camera batt`s are going going gone.

Fun and games with one of the kits,  suspended via strapping when glue joint gave way, and now have a Natter kit again. Still its easily repairable and will show as progress continues.

Looking good.  Those light fixtures and buckets really add to the realizism of the scene.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

It`s amazing what a digital camera hides.

Anyway looking back at my last few posts I`m turning into one of those "I choose my brush-photo-I open the paint-photo-I paint the part-photo-i watch it dry-photo" posters so I`m gonna try and get a lot more done before i post again.
Cheers for now

Well BlackOps if you like drying paint well here goes,

Nothing actually added to the dio` but bitz and boobs played with. Apart from that I`ve also done this

Mossie`s tape idea worked fine until I tried to hang the model, then it was a kinda noseweight type situation, the tail hanged down. Now I`ve superglued the metal rings to the `frame` and locked them in position which helped and have applied s/glue to the tape `webbing`which is where most of the movement was coming from and now have a slight tail dangle. (prob just old age) which I might just ignore or do a figure to support and look like it`s guiding the plane unto the trailer.

The other things I`ve been doing is these to go into the corner near the firstaid cabinet.

Now don`t go all orgasmic on me it`s just basic modelling and it leaves a stain. I showed these to a friend of mine who wanted to know how I did it and I suppose you do to.
The oildrum and the two crates are resin copies of somthing I bought ages ago. The  chair and the radio are from the Preiser Luft Figure set. The chair and crates are done in oil washes and streaked using a dry flat/chisel brush.
The oildrum is in Tamiya acrylic with oil washes and runs. The broom is a block of scrap resin for the head and a brass rod handle. Carve and file the block to broom head shape and scratch the bristles in with a knife blade. The bucket is turned down by chucking a piece of dowel into the dremel and sanding away anything that ain`t bucket, wear a mask!. Add colour from oils and black bands with a sharpie felt pen. Handle is cotton thread and rags from tissue in PVA, also paint the watered down PVA on the handle to stiffen. The radio is actually painted up to look like one my Dad had when I was likkle, that his Uncle bought back from Germany when he was BFPO`d after the war. It was moulded in something like bakalite but in a strange onxy marble finish that looked like bananananana flavoured toffee to me. the front had some kind of thin veneer sorta rosewood coloured and I think it was made by AGA, anyway it was one of my Dad`s treasured possessions and always went on family picnics as it was batterry powered. Anyway bearing the above in mind I placed it on the large crate behind which the accumulator is hidden and the radio follows when the `brass` visit. The mugs are simple Evergreen tube of the smallest size drilled out with progressivly larger bits until you see the plastic distort when drilling with a pinvise. Handles are streched sprue wrapped around small diameter brass rod and held infront of the kettle and dipped into cold water to set, cut along the rod to make loads of rings and then cut into `c` shapes and superglue as liquid cement dissolves the mug.
See, easy.
Cheers Gary :drink:

If I never do anything with a wood pattern again it will be to soon :banghead:

Amen Brother Black Ops! Everytime HOG posts it's a wonder to behold!

HOG, I always enjoy your updates and how you explain everything. To a real pro, it all seems so simple. Not so to the rest of us. Bravo!
