Taking A Break

I'm glad you guys enjoyed my Henristani main tank post because it'll be the last terrestial based subject I'll be doing for awhile. There will be no new whif armour or aircraft posts for the forseeable future.

I'm taking a break from whif armour and aircraft etc to concentrate on a massive backlog of Sci-Fi projects that have been half started and left.

They include

Space ship inspired by the Sci-Fi artist Chris Foss
Republic cruiser from EPSIII
Trade fedration tank from EPSI
Klingon Bird of Prey as a free lance pirate ship
Babylon 5 inspired scratchbuilt destroyer based on the whitestar design. This thing will be very big when finished, so big in fact I have no idea where I am going to put it.
40K Tau devilfish
40K Leman Russ

I am not going to dissappear from here as this is still my favourite place on the web but if you want to check any of my modelling work go to Starship modeller.

Oh I forgot I have one real world armour and aircraft kit I have to finish as well but they are commission builds so no whiffing there ;) .

I'll keep a look out for ya Sisko. Besides, who says you can't post Sci Fi here. It's all whif, right? ;)

I agree! You could post them here, at least the finish models?
Or at least a link in your signature ;)

Sisko, I've been on a bit of a sci-fi kick myself lately, I'll definately see you on the SM board but that doesn't mean you can't share them here too.

Looking forward to seeing the Tau Devilfish and the Foss inspired cruiser :)

Whiffs of all types from all galaxies are welcome on What-If. I hope you'll keep us in the loop and share them with us here Sisko. Your work is a constant source of inspiration!

I agree, post 'em up. Sci-fi is a welcome change of pace from all the planes that get posted. I've got some planned myself, might just have to start an account over at SM.

I'll certainly post links for anybody who's interested.

Chris Foss ship

Whiff and Sci-Fi are very intertwined it's just that in the interests of keeping the site size under control it's best that the picture posts go to more whif profiles and whif builds.

Wow it sure looks like you had a blast building that one, Sisko! I love the colors! It reminds me of some kind of fish. Nice work! I can't wait to see what else you've been up to.

I am building the Tau Devilfish now because I am away in the back blocks of the Northern Territory and I couldn't take my Foss Ship with me

Man what a nice build. If you haven't got one.......get one they are a bag load of fun. Fit is great and I had the whole body together in 3 hours.  Tonight I put the engine together, the engine pods required a little work but nothing that a bit of modelling won't cure.

This hobby is supposed to be fun and it is kits like this that make me think that there is fun still to be had.

I should be ready for paint by the time I get back home on Friday. When I finish the Foss Ship this is next.
