Hannants have the Nimrod down as a late Jan release however todays Newsletter reminds people to check that the card details Hannants hold are current - otherwise you won't et your order. A lot of cards used would have expired since this kit was first announced so check you are not affected.

Sweet....I'll have to keep an eye out to see if that one is available here.

In other Nim News, I secured my Nimrod from my LHS today. He says he's getting nine, and six are already spoken for.

LHS has them in at Bishop Auckland and its a great looking kit, the first thing that strikes you is how big the plane is and then reading the instruction you discover that you get a transfer sheet with six versions and a nice selection of weapons for the bomb bay and wings, cool

Hannants are getting there's tomorrow, so expect a nice pressie through the post sometime soon!  Although going by the amount they'll have to send out & the fact they never rush anyway, I wouldn't expect it in the next few weeks.

Model Alliance already have a couple of decal sheets due out too:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Chatting via PM's with Bill Clarke over on Britmodeller, he gets his shops' stock from Hannants. Apparently ALL available staff are on Nimrod packing duties for the rest of this week and next. Which is great news if you've ordered a Nimrod but fairly pants if like me you've ordered a Lancia Stratos  !!

There were six Nimrods sat on the floor in the High Holborn Modelzone this lunchtime.  All priced up.  Nearly got one!!
Also the new Airfix catalogue.  Interesting to see the New releases - the Aiurfix retreads had pukka box art and parts numbers (I really hope it isn't the old Gladiator!!!), the retreads from other sources had temporary box art and parts numbers, but the proper new stuff had neither.  Including the 1/72 Spit IXc.  The one exception seemed to be the 1/72 Buc, suggesting perhaps a comprehensive weapons package?? ;D ;D

Good model shop that is. Have brought a fair bit from there on my visits to Nottingham.

our shop stock arrived this (wednesday) morning, looks very nice, just seeing if I could ever find room for the thing (either built or unbuilt)... but it would have to be Canadian...
