finally got round to buying an Anigrand 1/144 Valkyrie... to be finished in B-52 SIOP scheme maybe?

Ooohh, that sounds nice, or maybe even SEA?

Got myself a Hobby Boss F4U-1 Corsair.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Sisko

Revell re-release of the viper.

Nice kit I might by the cylon raider as well. Also picked up the hobby boss 1/72 Leopold. WOW!!!!!! :o It's nice.

Am not sure whether I should build it as standard or get a whole swag of maus kits and make it some uber self propelled gun.

Get this Cheese to sick bay!

The others came from a second hand kit store, a 1/72 Contrail Airspeed Ambassador, a 1/72 Italeri F-15E, a 1/72 Airfix 'bagged' Folland Gnat (pre Red Arrows) and a 1/72 Airfix 'bagged' DHC Chipmunk

Cheers,

You'll enjoy the build Harro as lovely conversion but remember to add a little extra nose weight.

Thanks for the tip, Geoff. This one will probably use the kit decals, but inspiration may strike yet.
Does the Cammett set include decals?

Thorvic

Hi Harro

No the Conversion set does not include decals, although Aviation Workshop are supposed to be doing some. I actually discovered that the Xtradecal Nimrod White & Schemed set actual includes some of the MR-1's that were converted to AEW3 standard.

I would recomend using aftermarket stencils and markings as the kit items are over glossy, have an extra carrier film and in some cases the colour on the roundels looks pixelated.

Cheers

pyro-manic

Airfix Spitfire Vc in 1:72. Going to use it in the Spitfire GB. It comes with two sets of wings, which is a nice bonus, though annoyingly enough, the newer set of wings have recessed details, while the original kit has raised ones.
