last night at the model club meet....

aeroclub meteor T.7 and FR9 conversions for the matchbox kit [but should work with the xtrakit re-pop btw]
some spares from an airfix AC-47 spooky kit

and paid for a nimrod which i'll get later this afternoon or tomorrow :wub: it's more loft insulation as i'm waiting
for an aftermarket AEW.3 conversion

Folks,

I just picked up my Revell Lancaster from my local shop and, damn, she's a beauty!

Very crisply rendered.  Outstanding detail.  The clear pieces are absolutely crystal.  Spot on and well colored decals.  A highly detailed instruction sheet.  Recessed panel lines and raised surface detail where appropriate.  All in all, this is an outstanding kit.  And that'd be true even were it the same price as the Hasegawa beast - but at less than half the price of the Japanese rendering it's even more better!

I'm a happy hobbyist today!
