I got the Lindberg re-release of the "Mars Probe Communication Satellite", which includes the winged upper stage (not mentioned on the box top or instructions) as an option.

Also, the bagged 1/144 Eduard  Avia S-92/CS-92, the Czech built, post-war Me-262A/B fighter. The kit is the same as their Me-262 kits, only with Czech decals and you can only build one aircraft; it comes with two fuselages for the single and two seat variants but one of everything else.

I also got the Aoshima 1/700 Nitta-Maru transport (passenger) ship.

One that I rescued from being thrown into the bin by a guy at work - a Hasegawa 1/32 Boeing F4B-4  Any suggestions on what to do with it?  My ideas at is stage are:

  • RN FAA;
  • Remove undercarriage and make into Airship carried fighter;
  • Floatplane fighter;
  • something else???

Regards,

Greg
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Remove the wings & engine, add wheels & convert it to a twenties LSR car to fit in the GB!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

This is a very nice little kit and builds well. I built one a few years back thouroughly enjoyed it.

Well, you could convert it to a P-15/F5B-1 and do it up in operational markings.  The real Xp-15/XF5B-1 (Boeing Model 202/205) never went beyond experimental flight testing but what-if....

Italieri 1/72nd Hawk Mk.100 from Hobbycraft for £4.00. The first ever What If scenario me and my mate came up with involved these, so I might just do it in "Burandan" colours for old time's sake.... ;D

Good to know! It looks nice on the sprues, that's for sure. I didn't realise the 190 was so small until I looked at this kit. I'd always equated it with bigger fighters like the Hawker Tempest/Typhoon etc, but it's smaller than my group build Spitfire!

A RoG/Zvezda MiG-31 and a JA-37 Viggen by Heller. Had ordered four, but only one Viggen was left!  :angry:

Don't know whether the Foxhound is gonna be a WhIF. I wanted too build the grey/black/blue demonstarator and an operational aircraft. If it's gonna be a WhIf, I'm thinking RAF with Phoenixes..... :wacko:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
