Managed to get hold of a resin PZL-230F Skorpion SABA aircraft.

Good casting as its almost kit like and captures the look of the mockup, but could do with wheel wells and engine faces as the engine pods are hollow.

You sure about that?  Airfix have their own low back Spit mould in 48th and I'm pretty sure it was released only for Airfix Club members.

Yep, Lee it's the Airfix Club boxing. When it arrives, I'll post a pic of the box-top. Already found a set of decals for it, ut as they're RW, I wont say any more

Nipped into Birmingham today, visited the German Market and bought a cool hat ;D
Visited Mike Wren's emporium, of course, and apart from a Squadron Signal "Polikarpov Fighters in Action Part 1", picked up two 1/72nd HobbyBoss Easy kits....He162 and Bf-109G-2

...1/72 scale Blohm & Voss BV P.194.

Can't wait to see what you do with that kit! Revell did a great job on it - the BV P.194 is a lot of fun to put together; almost as much fun as their E.555

From Small World Models in Castleton last night I have a Revell 1/72 Me P.1099 for a surprisingly low price.

It's a tiny little shop only open at weekends and makes me think the owner is selling off his life's collection of old railway pieces (Hornby etc) and books and toy cars with some cheap new stuff to fill out the empty space. Has quite a few Revell model ships and some Contrail vacform flying boats (Blackburn Iris III and Short Singapore).
