Hi Van,
Now, what is your instinct telling you about that Canberra? I was thinking of getting it myself. Does it seem to become a clean built?

Thanks!
Niki

Trumpeter Sea Hawk in 1:48 and the "new" Hobby Craft Desert Sea Fury in 1:32.
The Sea Hawk looks quite promising on the sprue but the Hobby Craft Sea Fury really disappoints me, especially considering I had hoped it to be a Trumpeter-produced mold.  It's extremely basic for the scale/cost and I can't even follow the directions!

This went into the shipping last week...such a big box, they said it would take more than seven days to arrive.

Just one addition to the stash this go around: the Revell 1/144 F-14D Tomcat.  It's a beautiful little kit, with a complete set of stores, plus decals for VF-101 and VF-213, the last unit to fly them in combat.

Where as mine will be Swedish.

Didn't Sweden have Canberras?

Yeap as target tugs and test beds, however i assume that Geoff P is intended a Sweedish PR9 for sneek & peek activity

They only had two I think, in NMF & as Geoff mentions they were used almost exclusively for test work.  Now, a B variant in splinter cam, that would be nice.....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ups  ;D, sorry mate, should have chosen my words more carfully
No, I was just reffering to the quality of the kit. But hey, we are now waiting for those two (real world and Swedish) Canberras

Radish

Three 1/72nd Fujimi MiG-21MF/bis kits...

MiG-21MF, with Iraqi markings (plus a lot of others too )
MiG-21MF with recon pod (Egyptian plus a lot of others )
MiG-21bis with Finnish colours.

I fancy doing a Soviet one in a white and twin-blue "aggressor-type" scheme, from the Northern Defence Area.
Also, how about a Winter-camouflaged Finnish one?
And a Polish one to complete the trio??
Must get some more though....they're beautiful

how about a pseudo-Lightning aggressor?

A mate of mine reckons that the Xtrakit cranberry is a bit of a pig to build.

Bill Clark has an IP thread on BM - the sink marks in the u/c bays....  :o

If going Agressor, I would do pseudo-NATO schemes - maybe one in USAF SEA camo, another in RAF grey/green, maybe the 3rd  Luftwaffwe splinter?  Danish/CDN dark green?  ADC Grey?  Of course the colours aren't "exact" ;)

The Lightning Aggressor sounds a cool idea, Mike!!
I'm wondering if the -21 is the best the Soviets had for the Lightning's characteristics, though.
Might something else be better suited? Suggestions??
But a 21 would look nice in 111 Sqn markings

Radish

Two 1/72nd Hobby Boss MiG-3
Two 1/72nd Booby Hoss T-6.....as much for the Chinese AF decals, but a nice kit with a huge colour scheme potential, real and daft too. In fact, a daft one can remain incredibly credible
Two 1/72nd Revell Hunter FGA.9s, one of which will be a real Hunter FGA.70A of the Lebanese AF, and the other "might" be real too.....on the other hand......
