My third and last Airfix Lightning F.3 finally arrived today, having, it seems, had an adventure in the Post Office (bless 'em )

Also, my second Airfix Me-262 arrived. The parts I really, really wanted were the two upper, outer wing panels, and guess what? One of them is badly molded.  :banghead: The mold hasn't filled properly and has left it with a rounded tip, ironically similar to the wingtip of the Me-109G that I intend fitting it to.....

Not sure whether to get yet another Me-262 or mod all the wing panels to match the rounded tip...

Just got back from Tankfest 2008 at Bovington (running Tiger I!!!    ), and picked up a Revell 1:72 EF Typhoon. I need to nick some of the missiles for a current project, but the kit has loads so I can do something else with it.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Airfix VC-10 = Probably the Skybolt carrier proposal, or the MPA proposed against the Nimrod...

Or buy another two & do this one.....

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Be interesting seeing your take on the P1127 interceptor Dunc....I did one last year:)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.
